A lot of work on the blog these days, first a Melt Banana interview ! And also A Zine about how to Organize Internation Musical Games Workshops of your city (french version is here), some workshop I used to animate for over 10 years now to make improvised, experimental and cringe music. It's a ton of fun to work on it. I want to do morrrrre, like making a new About page, more fun to read. Also I would love to work on some responsiveness of the blog on mobile but I'm not sure how to work around that. I'll see !

It's been a while since I didn't check the Content ID claims on my music, I had to because someone contacted me on that matter. So today I sent 4 e-mails to 4 differents distribution services. Today's list is : RouteNote, SpaceMedia UK, Tratore dot Com and RepostNetwork dot Com. Always a pleasure to manage this type of stuff (no). This is such a time wasting admin shit to handle. Here it was mostly people really remixing my stuff, that makes me feel really bad because i love when people try stuff over my music, it's fun, even when I don't like it. So I have to cut the groove a little bit. It's not a really weird and funny investigation (I don't miss you Layne McDonald, but you made me laugh so much).
I will also write an article on how I still can't handle Audible Magic claims even after contacting them for two years without answers (by mail, phone,...) and they only reached back to me last year for going silent during 8 months and not even working on that problem. I'm a bit tired of that shit, I won't lie.

Editing this blog gives me more ideas to edit it more. I feel my about page is not fun at all and i want to have fun with it. Also, i might want my blog to be more responsive for phone. The index is such a mess but i tried to make it work with the ideas i had and what i could find on the internet. Gosh it's kind of hard when you start from a bit of nowhere on web development. But for the moment, i'm more about finding the fun, huhu. I missed the fun i could have on Skyblog, and having it here is so great. I should focus on that, yes. I'll have plenty of time to go nerd this next year and get on working around responsiveness.
Yeah, let's go for that.

I did it ! It works ! My blog is still largely wacky and really unaccessible for phone navigation in general. But it will be for later. For now, I'm just trying to figure out how Javascript works (even though I didn't learn a lot because i just found a piece of code I had to tweek a bit, only because I didn't understand how it worked, haha). But that's good practicing, I guess !
Today, I'm going back to Paris for a few days to see friends, play some videogames and do some music. I had a really hard time recently recording stuff. It's hard. But hey. It's not the first and it won't be the last time. What I know is that I can also stop recording music for a moment and it will be ok, and it could also possibly be a full stop for the rest of my life and it's even okier too. Like, creativity manifest itself in so many way and I find such joy in other practicing, like writing, drawing, cooking, having meaningul and meaningless conversations with friends, learning new stuff like languages or a new job. It's definitely a lot of fun and it's totally outside of music, even though it's still a bit connected to it. Not as a mean of production, but as a philosophy of approach, as a way to learn and practice with tools (music as we know is, for me, a lot of mathematics to get a result, I'll write about how I do this stuff someday). The stuff is different in the end but still connected. It comes from the same brain, so...
I'm really happy it works, I'll be able to log off more of social medias. I mean, it was the idea. Let's see how it works in practice now and how brave i'll be leaving Bluesky, Instagram and maybe Mastodon.

I want to try to make a journal and make it work as an integration in the index of my blog and having a dedicated page to it. It seems hard but I hope I can do something that will work. And I want to try on my own at first, maybe I'll make something that can work well !
